Strawberry Cream cheese Icing.

This Recipe is the one I whip up to top my Strawberry cake. You can find that recipe HERE. This recipe will cover two 9 inch round cakes or a layered cake but trust me, You will want to double this, just so you can eat some out of the bowl by itself. It’s just THAT good! You can Omit the Strawberry Puree and just have an old fashioned cream cheese icing recipe if needed as well. Hope you enjoy!

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz Softened Cream Cheese
  • 1 Stick Softened Butter
  • 3 Cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1 Pinch salt You can omit this if you use salted butter.
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • ¼ cup Strawberry puree from frozen sweetened strawberries

Instructions
 

  • Cream the Butter and Cream cheese together
  • Add in Powdered sugar a little at a time until you've added all three cups and mixed well.
  • If you did NOT use salted butter you can add a pinch of salt
  • Pour in vanilla and Strawberry puree and mix well

Notes

This recipe is enough to cover to 9 inch round cakes or a layered cake. You can add or take away Strawberry puree according to your individual taste or needs. Feel free to double the recipe, trust me, your gonna wanna eat this straight out of the bowl.
